Overview
A large, multi-division organization is seeking a highly qualified Solution Architect to provide strategic, operational, and technical support for the ongoing development and customization of its enterprise CRM platform. The role focuses on improving business processes, optimizing data flows, enhancing automation, and building a long-term roadmap that aligns technology initiatives with organizational priorities.
Responsibilities
• Operational Process Development
• Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) across multiple business functions.
• Produce clear documentation to support knowledge transfer and onboarding.
• Evaluate existing operational workflows and recommend improvements for efficiency and consistency.
• CRM Marketing & Automation Development
• Architect data models, segmentation strategies, and automated journey flows within the CRM marketing platform.
• Identify blockers related to data availability, process gaps, and business requirements.
• Provide best-practice guidance for scalable communication and automation programs.
• Roadmap & Stakeholder Alignment
• Develop a forward-looking technology and process roadmap for the organization.
• Facilitate alignment among operational stakeholders, IT groups, and executive leadership.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, technical feasibility, and strategic direction.
• Process & Data Quality Improvement
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance data quality, process automation, and CRM optimization.
• Recommend system enhancements and process changes that improve performance and user experience.
• Dashboards & Reporting
• Design and build dashboards for operational and executive-level reporting.
• Translate business needs into actionable metrics and real-time data visualizations.
Required
• Business Skills
• Process Definition: Ability to map, document, and optimize end-to-end business processes across diverse functions.
• Documentation: Experience producing SOPs, process maps, user guides, and training materials.
• Business Analysis: Skilled at gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and converting business needs into system changes.
• Reporting: Ability to design dashboards and KPI-driven reporting frameworks.
• Change Management: Experience guiding teams through adoption of new tools and processes.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Proven success bringing business, technical teams, and leadership into shared understanding.
• Strategy Skills
• Roadmapping: Linking business priorities with technology capabilities and resource planning.
• KPI Development: Establishing measurable outcomes that track organizational performance.
• Business Case Development: Quantifying cost, value, risk, and ROI of proposed projects.
• Journey Mapping: Creating customer or user journey maps to uncover friction points and improvement opportunities.
• Strategic Planning: Supporting long-term planning and sequencing of initiatives.
• Executive Communication: Delivering concise summaries, briefs, and presentations that connect technical detail to strategic impact.
• Technical Skills
• Salesforce: Architecture best practices, Apex triggers, classes, and batch jobs, advanced reports and dashboards development.
• Marketing Cloud: Experience with AMPscript, SQL, Data Extensions, and complex journey design.
• Business Intelligence: Ability to build dashboards using Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, Python, or similar tools.
• Integration Architecture: Designing integrations using APIs and event-driven frameworks.
• Artificial Intelligence: Experience designing AI-driven solutions using retrieval-augmented generation or similar approaches.
